ELA Wednesday in Class

Today you watched a video demonstrating the idea of creating sentence length variety in your stories.  Your assignment:   First,  read your story softly aloud to hear the flow and rhythm of your sentences.
Next, FIX sentences that are too long.  It is likely you have a run-on and you are "punishing" your reader with too much detail to keep in mind until they hit the endmark!!  Cruel!  LOL  Finally, if you have a creative moment, maybe try a one word sentence.

Due Friday:  Final Draft Short Stories  AND your Reader's Notebook with 2 entries.
